Russians report ongoing drone attacks on Moscow

Moscow authorities have reported a drone attack on the Russian capital starting from 21:00 on 16 March.

Details: Sobyanin reported what he said were 16 drones "flying towards Moscow" from 21:09 on Monday until 00:28 on Tuesday (Kyiv time).
He initially reported single drones and later twice claimed that Russian air defences had intercepted six UAVs at a time.
He stated that "emergency services are working at the scenes where debris has fallen".
Update: After 01:00, Sobyanin said that three more drones "heading towards Moscow" had been destroyed.
At around 02:00, the mayor reported an attack by another eight drones.
At around and after 05:00, according to Sobyanin, 12 more drones attempted to attack Moscow.
Background:
- On 16 March, Sobyanin stated that over the past two days, air defence systems destroyed around 250 drones heading towards Moscow, and the attack was ongoing.
- On 14 March, Russia claimed that around 300 Ukrainian drones had attacked during the day, including 65 that were heading for Moscow. According to calculations by the propaganda agency TASS, the UAV attack on Moscow was the largest since the beginning of the year.
