Student accommodation and 14 residential buildings damaged in three districts of Odesa after Russian attack – photos, video

Three people have been injured and several high-rise residential buildings as well as student accommodation have been damaged in a Russian attack on the city of Odesa on the night of 18-19 March.

Quote: "The Prymorskyi district. Damage has been recorded to 12 residential buildings. Two people have been taken to hospital. Utility services are clearing the surrounding areas and boarding up broken windows."

Details: A 22-storey residential building and a university hall of residence were damaged in the Kyivskyi district. Around 180 windows were shattered. One person was injured and received medical treatment at the scene. Work is ongoing to cover windows with plastic sheeting and OSBs.

A two-storey residential building was partially destroyed in the Khadzhybeiskyi district. Lysak said municipal services had covered the damaged windows.

"The process of compiling inspection reports based on residents' requests is ongoing. Emergency response personnel, district administration experts and municipal services are working at the scenes," Lysak said.
