Ukrainian and US teams in Florida aligned approaches to advance towards results, Ukraine's chief negotiator says

The Ukrainian and US delegations in Florida have continued discussions on further steps within the negotiation process.

Details: Umierov said the Ukrainian side at the talks was represented by himself, Davyd Arakhamiia, leader of the Servant of the People parliamentary faction, Kyrylo Budanov, Head of the President's Office, and Budanov's First Deputy Serhii Kyslytsia. The American delegation included US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, Donald Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner, White House senior adviser Josh Gruenbaum and US State Department senior policy adviser Chris Curran.

Quote: "We continued discussing key issues and the next steps within the negotiation process. Particular attention was paid to aligning approaches for further progress towards practical results.

Following the first day of the meeting, a report was presented to President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

We thank the United States for its engagement and consistent work in advancing the process. We will continue the work tomorrow."

Background: Zelenskyy said the Ukrainian delegation held a meeting with US representatives Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner on 21 March, with further talks also scheduled for 22 March.
