Ukraine's defence forces have struck a Russian Bastion coastal missile system launcher in temporarily occupied Crimea, as well as command posts and clusters of Russian troops in other occupied territories.

Details: It is reported that on the night of 23-24 March, units from Ukraine's defence forces struck a number of important military facilities belonging to the Russians.

In particular, a launcher from the Bastion coastal missile system was struck in the village of Aktachi in the Bakhchysarai district in Crimea.

Clusters of Russian troops were also struck in Velyka Novosilka in Donetsk Oblast, in Khoroshe in Luhansk Oblast and in the village of Novozlatoopil in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

In addition, a Russian repair unit and a UAV command post were struck in Novozlatopil and Velyka Novosilka.

The General Staff added that the extent of damage caused and Russian losses are being established.

Background: On 23 February, Ukrainian forces struck an area where a missile unit was deployed, as well as logistics facilities and command posts in the temporarily occupied territories. In Crimea in particular, they struck the deployment site of a missile battalion of the 15th Separate Coastal Missile Brigade of Russia's Black Sea Fleet, which is equipped with the Bastion coastal missile system.
