Ukrainian air defences down 267 drones, hits recorded at 11 locations

Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 289 Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas and other types of drones on the night of 30-31 March. About 200 of the UAVs were Shahed loitering munitions.

Details: Early reports indicated that as of 08:00, Ukrainian air defence forces had destroyed or jammed 267 Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas and other types of drones.

Hits by 20 UAVs had been recorded at 11 locations and the fall of downed aerial assets (debris) at 6 locations.

Aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare assets, unmanned systems units and mobile fire groups from Ukraine's defence forces have been involved in repelling the attack.

The attack is ongoing, as several Russian drones are still in Ukrainian airspace.
