EU chief diplomat Kallas says Europe stands with Ukraine and promises full accountability for Russia

Kaja Kallas, the EU's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, has expressed her support for Ukraine upon arriving in Kyiv, stating that Europe will do everything possible to "ensure full accountability for Russia's crimes".

Background:
- On 25 March, Sweden joined the agreement on the Special Tribunal for the Crime of Aggression against Ukraine.
- On 30 March, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said that eight countries had confirmed their readiness to join the Special Tribunal agreement.
- On the same day, Latvia also announced its intention to join the initiative to create the tribunal.
