MP Koriavchenkov lists Spanish apartment in asset declaration after being exposed by UP
Yurii Koriavchenkov, an MP from the Servant of the People faction, has listed a Spanish apartment purchased in 2025 in his asset declaration after it was reported by Ukrainska Pravda. Koriavchenkov is better known in Ukraine as Yuzik, an actor with Kvartal 95 Studio, the Ukrainian production company Volodymyr Zelenskyy founded before he became president.

Details: The Spanish apartment, with an area of 90.9 sq m, was purchased on 10 January 2025 and is registered in the name of the MP's wife, Tetiana Koriavchenkova.
The declaration stated that at the time of purchase, the property cost UAH 6,533,910 (less than US$150,000).
The MP himself has owned a 103-square-metre apartment in Kyiv since 2008, according to the declaration.
His wife owns a 136.4-sq-m apartment in Kyiv, a parking space, a one-third share of a 56-sq-m apartment in Kryvyi Rih, two land plots (1,500 sq m and 152 sq m) in Kherson Oblast, as well as a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado (2013) and a Toyota Land Cruiser (2023), which the MP uses.
Koriavchenkov also declared a Breitling watch worth UAH 150,000 (US$3,400).
The MP reported a salary from the Verkhovna Rada (Ukrainian parliament) of UAH 643,820 per year (US$14,500), as well as UAH 16 (US$0.4) in interest from PrivatBank, UAH 400 (US$9) in cashback, and UAH 165 (US$3.7) listed as the "value of orders, medals, badges, trophies, diplomas, certificates and flowers".
His wife earned UAH 3,830,000 (US$87,000) over the year (income from business activities). She also received UAH 12,990 (US$295) in interest and UAH 69,215 (US$1,570) in insurance payments.
Koriavchenkov holds US$30,000 in cash and has US$10 and just over UAH 2,500 (US$57) in bank accounts.
His wife holds €45,000 in cash and has US$19,800, about €4,700 and just over UAH 300,000 (US$6,800) in bank accounts.
The declaration also states that in summer 2024, his wife took out a loan from PrivatBank worth UAH 2,112,000 (US$48,000), of which UAH 1,671,000 (US$38,000) remains outstanding.
Background:
- Earlier, Ukrainska Pravda located Koriavchenkov in Spain. In a comment to journalist Mykhailo Tkach, he said he was there on unpaid leave and insisted it was legal.
- Koriavchenkov said his wife had purchased an apartment in Spain but could not specify its size or cost, noting that all details would be included in his declaration.
- Koriavchenkov was also unable to say where his wife works.
- Additionally, Koriavchenkov could not recall how often he visits his family in Spain or whether he had spent New Year with them. However, he acknowledged that he was with his family in January, February and March, including seven days in February during a "business trip".
- Ukrainska Pravda has found that Koriavchenkov left Ukraine for Spain after being questioned by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine.
