Mother killed in front of her son during Russian strike on Kherson

One person has been killed and three others injured as a result of a Russian attack on Kherson on the morning of 6 April.

Quote: "At around 10:15, Russian occupying forces bombarded the Korabelnyi district. Early reports indicate that one person has been killed and two others sustained injuries of varying severity."

Update: Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of Kherson Oblast Military Administration, later said that the Russians had killed a mother in front of her son.

"Those damned Russian terrorists turned the courtyard of an ordinary apartment building in Kherson into a scene of tragedy. Right there in the courtyard, in front of her son, they took the life of the person dearest to him – his mother. I extend my sincere condolences for his loss. Three other injured women are currently in hospital," Prokudin said.
