Ukraine's General Staff reports strike on Russian Be-12 amphibious aircraft in Crimea

A Russian Be-12 anti-submarine amphibious aircraft has been struck near Kacha in temporarily occupied Crimea, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has reported.

Details: The General Staff said Ukraine's defence forces will continue their sustained operations aimed at weakening Russia's offensive capabilities and reducing its combat potential.

Background: On the night of 5-6 April, drones operated by Special Operations Centre Alpha (part of the Security Service of Ukraine), working together with the defence forces, struck the Sheskharis oil terminal at the port of Novorossiysk in Russia's Krasnodar Krai.
