Russia hits tax inspection office and city council building in Chernihiv Oblast, with fires raging – photos

Russian forces attacked the building of the state tax inspection in central Novhorod-Siverskyi and the city council building in Pryluky, Chernihiv Oblast, on the morning of 7 April.

Quote: "At around 09:30, a hit by an enemy UAV (type currently being established) was recorded in central Novhorod-Siverskyi. The strike hit the building of the state tax inspection. The blast wave damaged the façades of nearby residential buildings and vehicles."
Details: Seliverstov also posted photos showing the building engulfed in flames.

"Information about casualties is being confirmed. Emergency services and law enforcement are working at the scene," Seliverstov said.

Suspilne also reports that Russian forces attacked the centre of Pryluky. Three explosions were heard in the city, and the first floor of the city council building caught fire as a result of the strike.


Update: Later, the Oblast State Administration reported that people had been injured as a result of the attack.

"This morning the Russians attacked administrative buildings in Novhorod-Siverskyi and Pryluky. Fires broke out at the sites of the attacks. Emergency workers and all the necessary services are working at the scenes. Early information indicates people have been injured," the administration reported.
