This morning, thanks to the precise work of Ukrainian Railways' air threat monitoring centre and locomotive crews, a commuter train in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast was stopped in advance and passengers were evacuated."

Details: Ukrainian Railways notes that the monitoring centre detected the air threat in time and promptly transmitted the information to the locomotive crews of a commuter train and a freight train operating in the potential danger zone.

The commuter train was stopped at the nearest station, after which approximately 500 passengers were evacuated. The freight train's locomotive crew also left the cab in time. The Russians then struck near the freight train's locomotive.

It is noted that thanks to the coordinated actions, none of the passengers or railway workers were injured.

After the air threat was no longer being detected, the passengers returned to the train and it continued on its route.
