Russian oil refinery 1,500 km from Ukraine damaged by Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces drones – video
The Sterlitamak petrochemical plant in Russia's Bashkortostan was struck on 15 April by attack drones operated by Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces.

The petrochemical plant in Sterlitamak (Bashkortostan) – a producer of aviation fuel, additives for aviation kerosene, and the only producer in Russia of neodymium-based synthetic rubbers – was slightly damaged on 15 April by the birds [drones] of the 1st Separate Centre of the Unmanned Systems Forces."
Details: In a video shared by Madyar, it is stated that the plant in Sterlitamak is part of the Roskhim group and supplies rubbers, phenolic antioxidants and other polymer materials for military equipment and defence-related industries. It also produces aviation petrol for piston-engine aircraft and helicopters.
Background:
- On the morning of 15 April, drones attacked a plant in Sterlitamak in Russia's Bashkortostan.
- Witnesses reported explosions and a fire, and videos circulating on social media showed drones flying overhead and subsequent explosions.
- The plant had previously been targeted in a drone attack on the night of 5-6 January. The distance from Ukraine to Bashkortostan is approximately 1,500 kilometres.
