One person has been killed and another has been injured in a Russian drone attack on a petrol station in the city of Sumy.

Details: Hryhorov said Russian forces had launched drone attacks on petrol stations in the Sumy hromada twice on 16 April. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]

Following the first strike, a woman working at the petrol station suffered an acute stress reaction. In the other strike, one person was killed and another was injured. Information on the casualties is being gathered.

Kobzar said the Russians struck the second station with a Lancet drone, causing fire. The attack took place in the Zarichnyi district of the city.

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine released photographs from the scene of the strike on one of the petrol stations. It reported that the ensuing fire there has already been extinguished.
