Russians drop aerial bomb on Sloviansk: prosecutor's office details aftermath

Russian forces struck eight settlements in Donetsk Oblast over the course of 16 April. Then, in the evening, residential buildings in the city of Sloviansk were damaged by a Russian air strike.

Quote: "On 16 April at 16:45, Russian forces dropped an aerial bomb on Sloviansk. Preliminary reports indicate the enemy struck using a FAB-1500 with a unified gliding and correction module. Residential buildings were in the strike zone. As a result of the attack, nine apartment blocks and five houses were damaged. As of now, no information on casualties has been received."

Details: Miedviedieva reported that since the start of the day on 16 April the cities of Kramatorsk, Sloviansk, Druzhkivka, Mykolaivka, Dobropillia and the settlements of Bilenke, Raihorodok and Krasnotorivka had come under Russian fire. Particularly, in Druzhkivka, a Russian FPV drone struck a vehicle, leaving a 51-year-old civilian with concussion.

Pre-trial investigations have been opened into the incidents above pursuant to Article 438.1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – War crimes.
