Russian missile strike hits Kharkiv, causing fire

Russian troops launched a missile strike on the city of Kharkiv in the afternoon on 18 April, causing a fire and damaging residential buildings.

Details: At 16:20, Syniehubov reported a missile strike on Kharkiv.

He later said that a Russian strike on Kharkiv's Shevchenkivskyi district caused a fire.

Windows were damaged in two apartment blocks. Two cars also sustained damage.

Firefighters from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine are dealing with the aftermath of the missile strike.
