The man who opened fire on people in Kyiv's Holosiivskyi district has been killed.

Details: Ukrainska Pravda has also obtained the man's personal details. His name was Dmytro Vasylchenkov, born on 21 April 1968.
He was born in Moscow, was a Ukrainian citizen, and had previously lived in Bakhmut, Donetsk Oblast, before moving to Kyiv's Holosiivskyi district.
Update: Ukraine's Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko has confirmed that the Kyiv shooter was killed during the operation to arrest him.
Quote from Klymenko: "Special forces from the National Police's KORD unit stormed the shop where the perpetrator was located. He had taken people hostage and opened fire at police officers during the arrest. Prior to this, negotiators had attempted to establish contact with him.
The number of the attacker's victims is being confirmed. Several people have been killed and injured."
Details: Ukrainska Pravda sources said five people were killed in the shooting: four in the street as the gunman was moving from a residential building to the shop, and one of the hostages inside the shop. At least seven people were injured, including a child who is in a serious condition.
Klitschko reported that 10 people have been hospitalised.
Background: On 18 April, a man opened fire on people in Kyiv's Holosiivskyi district, causing deaths and injuries. Police carried out a special operation to detain the perpetrator.
