It is claimed that the developers focused primarily on cost-effectiveness and scalability.

"The Khmarynka's UAV was designed as an affordable tool for the systematic exhaustion of enemy air defence. It is also intended to strike a wide range of targets at tactical depth – armoured vehicles, transport, warehouses, shelters and more," the statement said.

The drone is launched via a catapult, allowing deployment in field conditions without complex infrastructure.

The declared maximum range is up to 50 km, with an endurance of up to 60 minutes. The UAV can carry a payload of up to 7 kg and reach speeds of up to 140 km/h. Its wingspan is 196 cm, length 153 cm and height 33 cm.

According to the company, the drone has already completed a testing cycle and is ready for scaled production and battlefield deployment.

"The first 150 drones will be provided free of charge to Ukraine's Security and Defence Forces to obtain direct feedback from combat units," the company added.

Khmarynka is also expected to become available for order on the Brave1 Market platform.

The company emphasised that the emergence of such solutions reflects the changing nature of warfare, where inexpensive and mass-produced strike systems capable of overwhelming enemy air defence play a key role.

Background: Earlier, Oboronka reported that the Ukrainian defence company UFORCE had developed and presented the Bucha fixed-wing kamikaze drone, a middle-strike class UAV designed for strikes at a range of around 200 kilometres.
