Hat trick from defence forces: Ukraine's General Staff confirms another strike on Tuapse oil refinery in Russia

Ukraine's defence forces carried out a new strike on the Tuapse oil refinery in Russia's Krasnodar Krai on the night of 27-28 April as part of efforts to undermine Moscow's military and economic capabilities.

Details: The oil refinery in Tuapse is involved in supplying Russia's occupying forces on Ukrainian soil.
Hits by attack drones were recorded at the facility, followed by a fire. Information is being gathered on the extent of the damage, the General Staff said.
Ukrainian troops also struck a radar belonging to the Ai-Petri air surveillance battalion near Okhotnyche in temporarily occupied Ukrainian Crimea.
Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian units have also successfully struck Russian command and observation posts near Molochansk, Stulneve, Kokhane and Uspenivka, a matériel depot near Kyrylivka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast and clusters of Russian troops near Velyka Novosilka and Rodynske in Donetsk Oblast, Starobohdanivka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast and Ovrazhky in temporarily occupied Crimea, the General Staff said.
Ukrainian forces struck a drone ground control station near Hola Prystan in Kherson Oblast, among other targets.

- On the night of 27-28 April, drones attacked a maritime terminal and an oil refinery in Tuapse. The Russian authorities reported that over 160 emergency personnel were battling a massive fire, and an evacuation of residents was ordered.
- Ukraine's General Staff clarified the extent of damage to oil refineries in the Russian cities of Tuapse and Yaroslavl: 24 storage tanks had been destroyed and four damaged in a strike near the Tuapse oil refinery on 20 April.
- On 16 April, deep-strike units from the Special Operations Forces struck several assets at an oil terminal in the Black Sea port of Tuapse.
