One person has been killed and two injured in a Russian missile and drone attack on the Shostka hromada in Sumy Oblast. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]

Quote from Hryhorov: "[The Russians] deliberately struck residential buildings where civilians live, causing large-scale fires in the residential area. Sadly, a 60-year-old woman has died from carbon monoxide poisoning."
Details: Hryhorov said two more people had sought medical treatment.
Other residents were evacuated in time.
Update: The State Emergency Service later reported that hits had been recorded at three locations in the city of Shostka.
"Residential areas came under attack. Fires broke out. Rescue workers managed to save one person and evacuate 16 others in one high-rise residential building. Early reports indicate that one person has been killed and one injured," the service said.
