Details: The strike targeted the most vulnerable part of the system, making further use of the radar impossible.
According to expert estimates, the average cost of a Nebo-M radar system is about US$100 million.
For reference: The Nebo-M is a multifunctional mobile radar system designed to detect aerodynamic and ballistic targets at medium and high altitudes.
It can detect aircraft at distances of up to 500-600 km and ballistic targets at up to approximately 1,500 km. The system can also detect low-observable aerial assets at ranges of 200-400 km and small assets such as UAVs and cruise missiles at distances of tens to hundreds of kilometres (typically 50-150 km).
