One person injured as Russian drone hits residential building in Kharkiv – photo

Russian forces attacked Kharkiv with drones on the night of 1-2 May, hitting a 12-storey residential building in the Shevchenkivskyi district and leaving one person injured.

Details: One person was injured after a Shahed drone struck the 11th floor of a high-rise residential building in the Shevchenkivskyi district.

The man suffered shrapnel wounds to the chest.

Terekhov said the drone had not detonated, which helped avoid far more serious consequences.

He later added that another drone had hit cars in the Kholodnohirskyi district of Kharkiv, causing a fire. Two cars were destroyed and seven damaged.

In addition, debris from a Shahed drone was found near a residential building in the Saltivskyi district following the overnight attack.

No further casualties were reported. Emergency services are working at the scene.
