Man killed and six people injured, including children, in Russian attacks on Sumy Oblast

A man was killed and four women and two children were injured as a result of Russian attacks on Sumy Oblast on Saturday 2 May.

Details: Two women were injured in a mortar attack on the Seredyna-Buda hromada, and another woman was injured in a UAV strike on the Bilopillia hromada. They received the necessary medical treatment and are undergoing outpatient treatment. A 69-year-old woman sustained more serious injuries and remains under medical supervision. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]
In addition, an elderly woman was injured in the Shostka hromada. She reportedly stepped on an explosive device. She is undergoing medical examination.
A 45-year-old man was killed while working in a field in the Krasnopillia hromada. He sustained fatal injuries due to a drone attack.
Additionally, two boys were injured during a Russian UAV attack on the Sumy hromada.
Quote: "The boys aged 10 and 11 were outside when the enemy attacked the city and were injured while Russian drones were being downed. They are currently in hospital and receiving the necessary medical treatment. Early reports indicate that their injuries are not serious."
