Details: Residents of several cities in Leningrad Oblast reported sounds of drones flying towards St Petersburg, as well as a series of explosions.

Drozdenko claimed that air defence forces had destroyed more than 50 drones.

As a result, St Petersburg's Pulkovo Airport temporarily suspended operations. According to Russia's Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsiya), it was not receiving or dispatching flights.

Background: Ukrainian drones from the Security Service's Special Operations Centre Alpha, in coordination with Defence Intelligence of Ukraine and the Unmanned Systems Forces, have once again struck infrastructure at the Port of Tuapse and the Tuapse Refinery in Russia's Krasnodar Krai.
