Details: Residents of Chuvashia reported explosions on the night of 4-5 May. An air-raid warning was issued in the region.
Russian Telegram channels said a fire had broken out following the explosions.
However, the Chuvash authorities only reported an attack on Cheboksary and the surrounding area, stating that there were "no casualties".
Meanwhile, Astra analysed eyewitness footage from the scene and concluded that the VNIIR-Progress plant in Cheboksary had once again come under attack.
The Chuvash authorities reported later that one person had been injured in the attack.
For reference: VNIIR-Progress operates within the ABS Elektro production group. The company has been reported to manufacture Kometa antennas used by Russian forces to counter Ukrainian electronic warfare systems and safeguard their drones.
Background: Oleg Nikolayev, head of Russia's Chuvash Republic, said in February that a large-scale drone attack had struck Cheboksary, home to VNIIR-Progress, a company supplying the Russian armed forces.
