Russia continues large-scale attacks on gas facilities: five killed and 37 injured

Three employees of Naftogaz, a Ukrainian state-run oil and gas company, and two first responders from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine have been killed in a Russian attack on one of the company's facilities on the night of 4-5 May. Thirty-seven other people were injured.

- Vitalii Diakivnych, Head of Poltava Oblast Military Administration, reported that four people had been killed and a further 31 injured in a Russian combined strike on Poltava Oblast on the night of 4-5 May.
- Two firefighters were killed and 23 injured in a Russian double-tap missile strike on a facility in Poltava Oblast, where they were extinguishing a large fire caused by an earlier attack.
- The intensity of attacks on Naftogaz infrastructure is increasing. On 4 May alone, Russian forces struck five facilities of the group in Sumy and Kharkiv oblasts, causing fires at the sites.
