Russians strike ambulance in Kherson Oblast: four medics injured

Four medical workers were injured in a Russian drone attack on an ambulance in the village of Sahaidachne in Kherson Oblast on the evening of 5 May.

Quote: "At around 16:40, the Russians attacked an ambulance with a Lancet-type UAV in the village of Sahaidachne in the Novoraisk hromada.

Four medical workers have been injured in the attack – men aged 60 and 43 and women aged 43 and 35." [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]

Details: The medics are suffering from concussion and sustained blast injuries and closed head injuries. The older man was also diagnosed with a shrapnel wound to his neck.

Medical treatment was provided to those injured at the scene.
