Details: According to the latest data, the fire has already engulfed around 4,300 hectares.
The blaze was caused by large-scale attacks from Russia. Forestry workers stress that extinguishing the fire is almost impossible, as equipment is being destroyed by drones targeting anything that moves.
Meanwhile, the forest protection service of Forests of Ukraine is preventing the fire from spreading deeper into Ukrainian forest areas. Additional mineralised firebreaks are being created to form barriers against the advancing flames.
