Details: The AI turret autonomously detects, tracks and calculates the flight path of Russian drones.

"The operator only needs to confirm the strike with a single press of a button. Crucially, this technology makes it possible to destroy even fibre-optic drones, which are not vulnerable to electronic warfare," the minister explained.

AI-powered turrets of this kind are part of small air defence. According to Fedorov, such systems are being used by more than 10 units in the contact zone. The turret, whose deployment was shown by Ukraine's Defence Ministry, was developed by a company participating in the Brave1 platform.

Background: Ukrainian company Frontline Robotics' Buria robotic turret has been codified by Ukraine's Defence Ministry. Ukrainian company Roboneers, in partnership with NeoLens, has also unveiled an AI-powered assistant for the remote-controlled combat modules Shablia MK19(M) and Shablia M2.
