Russia attacks Ukraine with 731 aerial assets, air defences destroy 41 missiles and 652 drones
Russian forces attacked Ukraine with Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles, Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles, Kh-101 cruise missiles and 675 drones on the night of 13-14 May. Ukrainian air defences have destroyed or jammed 41 missiles and 652 drones.

Details: Russia began the attack on the evening of 13 May, immediately following a large-scale daytime strike involving nearly 800 drones.
The Air Force said Kyiv was the main target of the attack.
In total, Ukraine detected 731 aerial assets, specifically:
- 3 Kh-47 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles
- 18 Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles
- 35 Kh-101 cruise missiles
- 675 attack and decoy drones of various types.
The missiles were launched from Russia's Lipetsk, Bryansk, Kursk and Vologda oblasts.
Shahed, Gerbera and Italmas attack drones, Banderol loitering munitions and Parodiya decoy drones were launched from the Russian cities of Bryansk, Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo and Primorsko-Akhtarsk as well as from Hvardiiske and Cape Chauda in temporarily occupied Crimea.
Aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare assets, unmanned systems units and mobile fire groups from Ukraine's defence forces have been involved in repelling the attack.

Hits by 15 missiles and 23 UAVs have been recorded at 24 locations and the fall of downed aerial assets (debris) at 18 locations.
The attack is ongoing. Several new groups of attack drones have entered Ukraine's airspace. Do not ignore air-raid warnings!"
Background:
- Seven people, including a child, were injured in the overnight Russian attack on Kyiv Oblast.
- Thirty-one people were injured in a Russian combined missile and drone attack on the city of Kyiv. A residential building collapsed in the Darnytskyi district, destroying 18 apartments in total.
