Quote: "With unspeakable pain, we inform you that last night a Russian missile took the life of Liubava Yakovlieva, a student in class 6-A at our lyceum.
We express our sincere condolences to her mother, relatives and loved ones. The most terrible face of war is the children's lives it takes away."
Details: At the time the statement was published, the school said Liubava's older sister was still trapped under the rubble. Her death had not been officially confirmed at that point. But search operations at the site of the attack have since been completed, and there were girls aged 12, 15 and 17 among those killed.
The school also said that the girls' father, Yevhen "Ryzhyi" Yakovliev, was killed in action three years ago.
