Man killed, 9 adults and teen injured in Russian attacks on Kherson

A man was killed and 10 other people were injured, including a teenager, in a Russian artillery attack on the centre of the city of Kherson on 16 May.

Details: The Prosecutor's Office reported that Russian forces launched an artillery attack on the central part of Kherson at around 11:45.
A man was killed in the attack. Two other civilians, a man and a woman, sustained injuries of varying severity. All three were outside at the time of the attack. The injured were taken to hospital.
Oleksandr Prokudin said a man, 35, and a woman, 22, were taken to hospital in a serious condition and doctors were doing everything possible to save their lives.
Update: Kherson Oblast Prosecutor's Office later reported that, as of 17:30, one person had been killed and 10 people injured as a result of the Russian aggression in Kherson.
Quote: "A civilian man who was outside was killed in the enemy artillery strike on Kherson. Ten other civilians were injured as a result of artillery shelling and drone attacks that continued in the regional centre throughout the day. Among them is a 15-year-old young man."
Background: Russian forces used a drone to strike a bus in the Tsentralnyi district of Kherson at around 07:00 on 16 May.
