Russia loses 1,170 soldiers and 82 artillery systems over past day

Russia has lost 1,170 soldiers killed and wounded over the past day, bringing its total number of personnel losses to 1,348,790.

Details: The total combat losses of the Russian forces between 24 February 2022 and 17 May 2026 are estimated to be as follows [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses – ed.]:

• 1,790 (+2) multiple-launch rocket systems

• 1,410 (+13) ground robotic systems
• 295,454 (+2,131) operational-tactical UAVs
• 4,628 (+2) cruise missiles
• 33 (+0) ships/boats
• 2 (+0) submarines
• 97,118 (+325) vehicles and fuel tankers
• 4,196 (+5) special vehicles and other equipment
