Zelenskyy thanks Security Service of Ukraine and defence forces for strikes on Moscow – video

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has thanked the Security Service of Ukraine and the defence forces for their high-precision strikes on Moscow Oblast.

Quote: "Our responses to Russia's prolongation of the war and its attacks on our cities and communities are entirely justified. This time, Ukrainian long-range sanctions [drones – ed.] reached the Moscow region, and we are clearly telling the Russians: their state must end its war.

Ukrainian drone and missile manufacturers continue their work. I am grateful to the Security Service of Ukraine and all the defence forces of Ukraine for their precision. The distance from Ukraine's state border is over 500 km."

Details: The president stressed that the concentration of Russian air defence systems in the Moscow region is the highest but noted that Ukrainian defenders are overcoming them.

Background: Russia's Defence Ministry claimed that 586 Ukrainian drones attacked Russian territory, about 130 of which were heading towards Moscow.
