Ukrainian soldiers accelerate ground drone to 70 km/h and evacuate wounded fighter from front line
The 1st Separate Medical Battalion and the Skelia unit, the 425th Separate Assault Regiment, have successfully evacuated a wounded soldier from the front line using an unmanned ground vehicle.

Quote: "We received a request to rescue a fighter who had been wounded during assault operations. The wounded soldier was at positions that were semi-encircled. A decision was made to evacuate him using an unmanned ground vehicle."
Details: The medical battalion said the journey to reach the wounded fighter went smoothly. On the way back, the ground drone was hit by two anti-personnel mines. The wounded soldier sustained no further injuries as a result.
The 1st Medical Battalion said the evacuation mission lasted 2 hours and 13 minutes, covering 36.5 km. The UGV's average speed was 15 km/h and its top speed reached 70 km/h.
After the evacuation, the fighter is receiving treatment at the next stage of care.
Background:
- Ukrainska Pravda reported earlier that soldiers from the 3rd Army Corps had used a ground robot to evacuate four civilians, including an injured woman, from the grey zone on the Lyman front.
- It was also reported earlier that drone pilots from Ukraine's 60th Separate Mechanised Brigade had used an unmanned ground vehicle to evacuate a 77-year-old woman after she had been spotted walking along a road exposed to Russian fire.
