Ukraine's Kostiuk breaks into world's top-10 best beach soccer women's players

Yuliia Kostiuk, a player for Kyiv's Mriia-Servit and the Ukrainian national team, has broken into the top 10 of the world's best women's beach soccer players for 2025.

Details: The Beach Soccer Stars 2025 voting results were released ahead of the official announcement. National team head coaches and captains took part in the voting. Kostiuk ranked eighth among the best women's beach soccer players of 2025.

Background:

• Last year, Kostiuk was named Ukraine's best beach soccer player. She scored five goals for the national team and won the Ukrainian championship with Kyiv club Mriia-Servit.
• Last week, Ukraine's national team lost to Portugal two goals to one in a friendly match, with Kostiuk scoring Ukraine's only goal in that fixture.
