Ukrainian National Bank building also damaged in overnight Russian attack

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) building has been damaged as a result of a large-scale overnight Russian attack on Kyiv.

Quote: "The NBU building has sustained minor damage in the overnight attack. No details – I'm not going to give the enemy the satisfaction.
After all, our team is already dealing with this. We will repair and rebuild everything.

Details: Pyshnyi also reported receiving numerous reports of damage to buildings and many bank branches.
"Our colleagues are reporting calmly and, as always, to the point: no casualties, buildings will be repaired. We will ensure the system keeps running whatever the conditions," he said.
Background:
- In Kyiv, damage has been reported to the buildings of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Cabinet of Ministers, a theatre, a concert hall, two museums, a library, a university, a church, a monastery and many architectural landmarks.
- A building at 9a Hrushevskoho Street in Kyiv where President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and sanctioned businessman Tymur Mindich have apartments was also damaged.
- Across Ukraine, four people were killed and around 100 injured, with approximately 30 residential buildings damaged or destroyed in Kyiv alone.
- On the night of 23-24 May, Russian forces carried out a large-scale combined strike on Ukraine using 90 missiles and 600 drones of various types, including an Oreshnik intermediate-range ballistic missile. Kyiv was the primary target of the attack.
