The building of the Cabinet of Ministers (Ukrainian government) has been damaged as a result of the latest overnight Russian attack on Kyiv.

Details: Commenting on the aftermath of the large-scale Russian attack on Ukraine, Svyrydenko said: "Being unable to break Ukraine, suffering immense losses militarily and economically, the aging Russian dictator has nothing else".
Background:
- On the night of 23-24 May, Russian forces carried out a large-scale combined strike on Ukraine using 90 missiles and 600 drones of various types, including an Oreshnik intermediate-range ballistic missile.
- Two people are known to have been killed and 81 injured in Kyiv.
- In Kyiv, damage was reported to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs building, a theatre, a philharmonic hall, two museums, a library, a university, a church, a monastery and architectural landmarks.
- The building at 9a Hrushevskoho Street in Kyiv, where flats belonging to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and sanctioned businessman Tymur Mindich are located, was also damaged.
- Across Ukraine, four people were killed and around 100 injured, with approximately 30 residential buildings damaged or destroyed in Kyiv alone.
