Russians strike Zaporizhzhia, causing fire and injuring two people – photos

A Russian attack on the city of Zaporizhzhia on the night of 28-29 May caused a fire and left two women injured.

Details: Fedorov said the Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia had caused a fire.

A high-rise residential building was damaged, with windows and balconies destroyed.

Fedorov later reported that two women had been injured in the attack.

Quote: "An 80-year-old woman and a 47-year-old woman have suffered shrapnel wounds to the face, legs and chest. They are receiving medical treatment."

Update: Fedorov added that efforts to deal with the aftermath of the overnight Russian attack are continuing in the Oleksandrivskyi district of Zaporizhzhia.

Quote: "Four high-rise residential buildings were damaged – windows were blown out and balconies destroyed. Non-residential buildings and premises were also damaged.

One entrance section of a residential building has been temporarily left without gas supply."
