Powerful explosion reported near Russia's Belgorod: Russian bomb may have fallen

A powerful explosion was reported near the Russian city of Belgorod on 8 June. Locals say a Russian aerial bomb may have fallen in the area.

Details: Local outlet Pepel initially reported that the explosion was caused by a Russian aerial bomb.

It later suggested that the blast may have occurred at an ammunition depot struck by a Ukrainian drone.

The Belgorod operational staff claimed that the "detonation" damaged houses and an office building in the village of Belovskoye near Belgorod, and that five women were suffering from concussion.
