Oil storage tanks on fire: Ukraine's General Staff confirms results of 8 June strikes on Russia

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has reported newly confirmed results of strikes against Russia's fuel and energy infrastructure carried out on 8 June.

Quote: "At the Grushovaya oil transshipment base near the settlement of Grushovaya Balka in Krasnodar Krai, Russian Federation, fires have been confirmed in two oil storage tanks, as well as in infrastructure used for assessing the quality of petroleum products.
At the Krasnoarmeysk oil pumping station in Saratov Oblast, fires have been confirmed in two oil storage tanks, each with a capacity of 50,000 cubic metres.
At the Krasny Yar oil pipeline control station in Volgograd Oblast, a fire has been confirmed in one oil storage tank with a capacity of 50,000 cubic metres."
Background:
- On the night of 7-8 June, operators from the 1st Separate Centre of Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces, acting in coordination with the Special Operations Forces and other units of Ukraine's defence forces, struck the Grushovaya oil transfer depot in the city of Novorossiysk, Krasnodar Krai.
- Also on the night of 7-8 June, Ukraine's Special Operations Forces struck a junction of two Russian trunk oil pipelines in Volgograd Oblast in a series of drone attacks. It was reported that a fire had broken out at the Krasny Yar oil pipeline control station following Ukraine's deep strike attack by the Special Operations Forces.
