Ukrainian-made Sting interceptors shot down over 3,000 Russian Shaheds and Gerberas in May

Previously: It has recently been reported that a drone interceptor pilot who goes by the alias Hulk shot down two Russian Shahed drones within a single day. The targets were destroyed several hours apart using Ukrainian-made Sting interceptor drones.
The Ukrainian company Sky Fall, which developed the P1-SUN interceptor, has recently announced its operational results against Shahed drones. A company representative said the Ukrainian military has shot down more than 3,500 Russian Shahed UAVs over the past six months using the P1-SUN system.

Ukraine's Defence Ministry reported that in May 2026, 8,150 launches of Shahed, Gerbera and Italmas loitering munitions and drones of other types had been recorded. During the same period, 7,476 Russian drones had been intercepted. The interception rate reached 91.73%.
