President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has urged Ukrainians to pay close attention to air-raid warnings in the coming days.

Details: Zelenskyy issued the warning following a statement from the Air Force that there is a risk of Russia launching ballistic missiles from the Kapustin Yar test range over the next 24 hours. Russia has previously used this site to launch Oreshnik intermediate-range ballistic missiles.
Background:
- Russia's latest large-scale missile attack on Ukraine took place on the night of 1-2 June. Kyiv and Dnipro were among the main targets.
- During that assault, Russia launched attack drones as well as air-, sea- and ground-launched missiles of various types. Ukrainian air defences intercepted 642 out of the 729 aerial assets launched.
- The attack killed 16 people and injured 42 in Dnipro. In Kyiv, seven people were killed.
