Russian attack damages Nova Poshta distribution hub in Zaporizhzhia

A distribution hub belonging to Nova Poshta, Ukraine's largest private delivery company, in the city of Zaporizhzhia was damaged in a Russian attack on 12 June.

Details: All employees were in shelters at the time of the attack, and none of them was injured.

To ensure uninterrupted operations, the company has activated backup logistics arrangements. Deliveries are continuing as usual.

The company also said customers will be compensated for the declared value of lost parcels. Nova Poshta will contact those whose parcels were lost as a result of the attack.

Background:

  • Nova Poshta has temporarily suspended the work of its last two remaining branches in the town of Druzhkivka, Donetsk Oblast, for security reasons amid constant Russian attacks.
  • On the night of 7-8 June, a Russian drone struck the roof of Nova Poshta distribution hub No. 5 during an attack on Kharkiv, causing a fire and a partial structural collapse.
