Russia claims drones were being made at Dovzhenko Film Studios and Kyiv Pechersk Lavra was hit by Patriot missile

Russia's Ministry of Defence has claimed that the cathedral in the grounds of the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra was not struck by Russian forces, but by a missile from a Patriot air defence system.

Details: The Russians claimed that "Western countries may have supplied the Kyiv regime with missiles whose service life had expired".
The Russian Defence Ministry also claimed that the Oleksandr Dovzhenko Film Studios had housed a "facility for the production and preparation of medium- and long-range UAVs".
Tetiana Berezhna, Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister for Humanitarian Policy, reported earlier that the studio's costume collection – the largest and oldest in Ukraine – has been destroyed.
Background:
- The Oleksandr Dovzhenko Film Studios and the Dormition Cathedral at the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra monastery complex were among the sites damaged in a large-scale Russian missile attack on the night of 14-15 June.
- Five people were killed in the attack.
- The Russians use photos of missile wreckage in Ukraine that have been posted on social media to advance their own narratives that Ukrainians are attacking themselves. Ukraine's Air Force has urged people not to post images of debris from missiles or other weapons.
