Ukraine's Ukrspecsystems unveils new interceptor drone in Paris showcase – photos
Ukrspecsystems has presented a new unmanned aerial system designed to intercept aerial targets, including attack drones, at the Eurosatory defence exhibition in Paris.

Details: The system, named One Punch, is reported to feature a range of up to 30 km, a target acquisition range of up to 700 m, a flight endurance of up to 14 minutes, and an interception speed of up to 300 km/h, carrying a 1.2kg directional fragmentation warhead.
One Punch is operated via a laptop and mouse, without special remote controllers or external displays. It features an onboard AI assistant that uses machine vision to identify targets and maintain tracking lock.
The manufacturer said the system can be deployed within 15-20 minutes from any position, or in around 10 minutes when transported in a specialised vehicle. It is also not dependent on fixed infrastructure.
One Punch operates from a ground-based takeoff hub. Once deployed, the aircraft remains in a ready-to-engage combat posture. The hub provides power from batteries, keeping the UAV in a launch-ready state. It takes no more than 30 seconds from target acquisition to launch.
One Punch can cover 30 km in around 7 minutes, enabling the system to respond to aerial threats in real time rather than tracking and pursuing targets.
Thanks to differential control (rudders and motors), the interceptor is highly manoeuvrable. It can also operate without a warhead, engaging targets via kinetic impact. This mode is intended, for example, for intercepting Shahed loitering munitions used by Russia in daily strikes against Ukraine.
The interceptor is single-use, features a manual self-destruct function and will automatically self-destruct if communications are lost. The Ukrspecsystems system is delivered with a standard payload configuration, requiring no additional armament integration.
A three-person crew is required to operate the interceptor, consisting of a pilot-operator, a navigator and a technician. With basic UAV proficiency, training takes seven days.
Background: Previously, Ukrspecsystems released an update for drone camera systems, introducing separate video processing modes for different operational conditions. The update applies to the USG-232, USG-231, and USG-231T camera models. The software package is standard for new systems and is also available as an upgrade for all in-service platforms.
