The mayor also reported a further strike by a Shahed-type drone in Kharkiv's Kyivskyi district. Syniehubov said, however, that a Russian UAV had been recorded as having crashed there.

Early reports indicate that the drone fell in the vicinity of an apartment building. The relevant services are establishing the circumstances and consequences of the attack.

Update: Syniehubov reported that the number of people injured in the attack has risen to three. An emergency medical team is taking a 68-year-old man to hospital. Medics are also providing assistance to a 45-year-old man and a 66-year-old woman.

Later, the State Emergency Service reported that the number of people injured in the morning attack on Kharkiv has risen to four.

A fire broke out at the premises of a civilian business in the Kholodnohirskyi district after a drone strike. In addition, dry grass caught fire in an open area in the Osnovianskyi district. State Emergency Service units quickly extinguished both fires.

In the Kyivskyi district of the city, debris from a Russian UAV fell on the grounds of a church and in a courtyard near a multi-storey residential building. No fire broke out, but a car was damaged.
