US President Donald Trump, during a meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in France, has refused to say that Russian leader Vladimir Putin bears greater responsibility for the continuation of the war in Ukraine.

Details: A journalist asked the US president whether he believes Putin bears greater responsibility for the continuation of the war in Ukraine. Trump said he does not want to comment on the issue because he is trying to end Russia's war against Ukraine.
Trump said such comments will only make finding a solution more difficult.
Speaking to journalists, Trump reiterated that he held productive talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Putin. He said there was little affection between the two.
Trump said he had ended eight wars and had thought this one would be among the easiest, but added that the two leaders' poor personal relationship make resolving it much more difficult.
