"Today's Photo of the Day comes from Moscow," the Estonian minister commented.

Background:

  • Commenting on the latest Ukrainian strikes on Moscow, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that pressure on Russia to end the war must come not only from Ukrainians, but also from Americans, Europeans and Russians themselves.
  • On the night of 17-18 June, Ukrainian drones penetrated Moscow's layered air defence and struck the Moscow oil refinery in Kapotnya, causing a major fire at the facility. Russian media outlets have described this as the largest attack in the past two years.
