Four children were injured as a result of a Russian attack on Poltava on 20 June.

Details: Yamshchykova said all injured children have been taken to hospital. Information on the aftermath of the strike is being clarified.

As reported by Suspilne, a series of loud explosions rang out in Poltava on the evening of 20 June. The first were heard around 20:10. There were at least three.

At the time, an air-raid warning was in effect in the Poltava district. The Ukrainian Air Force twice reported high-speed targets heading towards Poltava.

Updated: Later, Yamshchykova reported that the number of children injured as a result of the Russian attack had increased to four: another child was taken by ambulance to the city children's hospital.
