Moscow mayor claims that more than 80 drones attacked Moscow

Russian authorities have claimed that air defences repelled another drone attack on Moscow over the past 24 hours, involving up to 100 UAVs.

Details: According to Sobyanin, Russian air defences supposedly thwarted another drone attack targeting the Russian capital during the past day.

"Air defence forces shot down 84 UAVs during the raid on Moscow alone. There was no damage or casualties," he claimed.
Sobyanin began reporting the drone attack from around 03:00.
Background:
- Earlier, on the night of 21-22 June, Sobyanin reported that around 60 drones had targeted the Russian capital, prompting Moscow airports to impose temporary operating restrictions.
- On the night of 17-18 June, Ukrainian drones struck the Moscow oil refinery in the Kapotnya district, causing a major fire at the facility.
- Russian media described that strike as the largest attack on Moscow in the past two years, while residents in some districts complained of an "oil rain".
